About a year or 2 ago the city of Hot Springs made public the purchase of land on Adams St. for use by public utilities. There was a short newspaper article about a poorhouse and graveyard on the street, but the street is now closed to the public. Anyone have any info about this forgotten gravesite?
It’s extremely hard to move bodies from a graveyard. I would imagine the County has a very detailed list of who is buried there. In addition, contact the GenWeb site for that county to see if anyone ever did a reading of it or was able to obtain the list.
