Which do you think is the more fun, budget-friendly BP:
A) A limo ride to the nearest big city for a night of club hopping and crashing in a hotel. Its sure to produce lots of memories of the good ole’ days when club hopping and dancing with strange men was okay, but not everyone in the group is a clubber.
B) Camping trip to Hot Springs, AR. Very few men around but lots of champaigne and chocolate. As long as a suitable cabin is reserved it’ll probably be okay with everyone but not terribly exciting.
PS – I’m planning my own BP because I really want to. Is it really that tacky? I’ll probably recruit a couple others to help.
i like both ideas. and I don’t think its tacky- it’s supposed to your day anyway
emmah has some good ideas.

Whichever idea you like more. It’s your party, it should be about what you want to do.

Well I say B or A.
Think of the weather also, just small details.
I do like the B idea a lot..very rare idea for a BP Party.

Why do you need a big to do? How about something more simple like the chocolate and champagne at home. Waaaay more budget friendly. Maybe there’s a nice spa nearby that would help you with a day of pampering for you and your best girls. They might accomodate the champagne and chocolate as well.

B would probably be more budget friendly, but if you wanted to cut the budget and still have fun on A, then maybe just not have the limo. You can still have an awesome car, though.
Have lots of fun! *pouts because she is not invited*

I’d say do what you’d prefer and not try to please everyone else. And for the second one not being exciting, I’d disagree. Bring some bachelorette party games along, a CD player with everyone’s favorite CDs, … I bet you could have a great time!

Both sound like fun…but if some of your friends aren’t “clubbers” they may not feel comfortable. I would just ASK them…(the ones you aren’t sure would like the club idea) and see what they say…you may be surprised!
No…it’s not tacky to plan your own…some friends (like me and mine) are good enough buddies to know that you just want to spend time with them and have fun…they know you’re not in for anything else (like gifts)…
This is YOUR special time…do what YOU want…have fun..and congrats! Married life is WONDERFUL!

Camping…but only because I am not into clubbing. I are sure you arent taking away the fun of planning this from your bridal party?

i would choose a only because that does sound more fun but if not everyone is a clubber find other places in that area that the others would want to go to. talk to everyone and find out. plan some time in the hotel for like a spa treatment and then if they want to join you for the clubbing then fine. if not they at least won’t feel totally left out. or if they want to stay for a while in the club then that’s fine too. it’s more fun not to stay out for a long time and have games and such in the hotel room. have one of the people that you recruit to help with that.

I like B, especially if you’re planning it yourself. I’d rather go fishing, play cards and drink. Clubbing and strange men are overated.
I Like Forest Rangers!

Nothing tacky about it at all.
Why do you need men around anyway? You have already found the man of your dreams haven’t you? The amount of men in the area is of no importance.
I would go with B.
