I have 52 years of “stuff” that I “can’t possibly getrid of”
children mementoes, nostalgia stuff. But he has a beautiful home, excellent income and he wants me there. I just feel overwhelmed about even the thought of what all I have to do to make this happen.
When I die he would have to do it, so I’m trying to eliminate a lot of problems for him
thank you

Is this what you want to do? If you’re in good health and have been living alone why stop now? It’s hard to give up your “stuff” if you don’t really have to, if you do have to move then I suggest sorting out the things that are nearest and dearest, realizing that lots of it has to go.
….But perhaps since your son is doing so well, he could provide you with your own apartment close by, where you could continue to be independent and have your “stuff”.
