Morels grow under cottonwood trees in Arkansas, but you’ll need a lot more info to find them. Do an internet search.

Besides Morels you might find what we call Elk Horns…but better check out the states web to see what exactly is prolific in Arkansas..and editable. Watch out for False Morels..poisonous.

Unless you have experience and know exactly what you`re looking for dont pick mushrooms to eat. We`re going to end up hearing in the news about some family having been rushed to the hospital because they picked their own mushrooms.

I like mushrooms, but only get mine in restaurants or at the Supermarket one bad one could be your last one.. when it comes to picking wild mushrooms I am Chicken Little.
