Where have you found Morel mushrooms in Arkansas?

I am getting hungry for wild mushrooms. Can anyone help with info about Morel mushrooms in Arkansas. I live in the Hot Springs area.
Thanks for the info about the Hikory trees. We have lots of them near us. I found them in Oklahoma in the woods along the South Canadian river. I really get hungry for them

    Don’t know about Arkansas, but here in Alabama I find them where there is a lot of hickory trees.

    In Iowa, we find them around dead/dying elm trees especially.

    It’s going to be a few months yet before we get to go! :(
