You should go to Chena Hot Springs in Fairbanks, Alaska. The springs are hot, and it is kind of cool because you can swim/relax in the spring water outside and be surrounded by snow at the same time. They have dog sleds there, you can rent snowmachines, go to museums such as an ice museum where you can have a martini from an ice glass.
I moved from Washington state to Arkansas and used google maps.

Or save up your cash and go to Japan. They are awesome. You can see the Ghibli Museum and all the anime locations at the same time. Trip of a lifetime.
