Former President Bill Clinton shared his favorite teacher and John Merrow talks to Paul Root, Clinton’s 10th grade Honors World History class at Hot Springs High School in Hot Springs, Arkansas. We talk with Mr. Root about what Clinton was like as a student and what it’s like when the student becomes the teacher. I live in Arkansas and have seen the boyhood home of Clinton’s and it’s in a middle class neighborhood and isnt the biggest home of its time period. my house is accually bigger. he spent a lot of time with his grandmother there because his mom had to work a lot because his dad died. then she married his step-dad (who was an alcoholic gambler) and they moved to hot springs. that house is bigger than the one in Hope but still not as big as many car salesmans houses.they were able to send him to good colleges because he was very intelligent and earned many scholarships. He was better off than some in hot springs but, Bush on the other hand was (like his father) the son of a rich politician. who was MUCH better off than Clinton. so who knows what we normal americans need ?????

They want to equate her with rural “white trash”, when they worship the real deal in the form of Bill Clinton and family. Is this just more typical Democratic hypocrisy? BTW, she is far from the low-life caliber of Bill and Hillary Clinton. I should know, I live 25 miles from Hope and 60 miles from Hot Springs. I know most of the scumbags that the Clinton’s associated with and even worked at the funeral home in Arkadelphia while James McDougal was being processed there.
