We live in the Pensacola FL area (panhandle) and we’re thinking mid to late march, so it still needs to be in the south where it will be a bit warmer. We are looking for a romantic and relaxing getaway for about 4-5 days, and don’t want to spend more than 6-700. We would be driving of course, so nothing too far West. Maybe within a 7 hour drive. We were going to go to Gatlinburg TN, which we’ve already been to and love, but I’m concerned what type of weather they’ll be having, and was interested in trying something different. I heard hot springs, AR is nice, but we’re expecting our fist child in August and I can’t get into any hot tubs, or hot springs cause it can hurt the baby
We wouldn’t mind still being at the beach, but the water will still be kindda chilly, so the town has to have lots to do. Any recommendations?
(not louisianna, we plan on doing that on a weekend, and we are military, so if a base were near by, we could stay on that and save money maybe)
daytona may have been nice, but i just remembered it will be spring break time for kids
Not very relaxing lol
