Can i have some help with a report about Hot springs national park in Arkansas, or just some general info?
Im doing a report on Hot springs national park in arkansas, and i was wondering, what are some ways it helps protect the ecosystem and animal community. The park is surrounded by a city, so i have that it keeps the city from developing the land, but what else? It protects the springs, but i dont know exactly what it does to protect the wildlife and stuff. You dont have to know much about Hot springs national park, but do you have info on how other national parks protect stuff? Thank you for any answers. And for any cat lovers out there, HURRAY!!!
Is OK City and Hot Springs, AR worth the drive from Dallas?
I am into historic stuff, sightseeing, national parks and fun.
Why does Arkansas get such a bad rep? What did it ever do?
I don’t live there, but I live in Kentucky. I’ve been to AR three times and, I’ll admit, the state didn’t overly impress me. But, two times I just drove through but stopped at a hotel and the occasional convenience store. East of Little Rock is very boring with the Mississippi Delta lands, but west of L.R. is actually quite pretty, with the piney woods and gently rolling hills. Many of today’s millionaires (some of which are actually self-made) live there; one of the most famous national parks, Hot Springs, is there; one of the top 25 fastest-growing metro areas in the country is Northwest Arkansas; Governor Huckabee’s office has undertaken an aggressive TV campaign to promote economic development, some of the commercials of which have been seen on Fox News.
To Arkansans: What is great about your state, and what you like or dislike about it? I don’t want to have a “full opinion” about AR until I visit more, see more attractions, and get to know more people from there. Thanks!
