Fountain Lake, AR Tornado Aftermath

Atlanta Storm Chasers arrives on the scene of a destructive tornado that had passed through the city of Fountain Lake, AR just minutes earlier. After realizing that continuing the intercept was impossible, we decided to assist in the search and rescue efforts before EMS and Law enforcement were present. Unfortunately, there is at least one fatality that we are aware of. As it turned out, the “kids” that the first lady mentions were NOT present in the destroyed house when the tornado tore through the small town.

The heavily impacted residents we met were grateful, amidst the destruction, for their safety and well-being. Many remain without power this afternoon as the area is under yet another Tornado Watch.
