im going to head to Hot Springs, Arkansas for Memorial weekend for saturday-monday so any advice? i bought rubber boots since it might be a little muddy when i go diamond hunting. im going with my aunt and uncle and mom and brother so we are going to do the following activities:
Canoe-ing (sorry i can’t spell!)
Swimming
Diamond hunting
Bike riding (on dirt hills)
and we are staying in a hotel
my uncle told me he always packs the week before so he told me it would be best because he and my aunt always travel right now there anniversary for that’s anniversary but that’s probably not the first time they’ve been there they go all around the world so what to pack what to pack!
Ok sorry for the last part the spelling thing messed me up! this is what i ment to say-
My aunt and my uncle are right now on there aniversery to Germany so my uncle gives good advice since he travels to so many places

My daughter and I are wanting to take a relaxing trip today to somewhere not too far from eastern oklahoma (where we live). Is there an area that has alot of small shops, bed and breakfast and maybe a dinner/theater. I wanted to go see a play “Steel Magnolia’s” in Seary, Arkansas and visit some hot springs but the hot springs are 2 hours away from the dinner/play.

and if it is what is the closest wet county. I am taking a trip there in March and I want to have some FUN!

I am taking a romantic weekend “get-a-way” trip with my boyfriend in Oct. to Hot Springs, AR for my birthday has anybody stayed at the Austin Hotel? I have stayed at the Arlington Hotel before I liked the historic charm but at the Arlington the rooms were very small and needed updating very bad. Very old and run down looking upstairs where the guest rooms were. I have never stayed at the Austin so I was wanting to know some reviews of people who have stayed there before. I am also thinking about getting the “Romance Two Day Spa Package” so any reviews on the spa at the Austin “Spa in the Park” would also be helpful. I want this trip to be perfect it’s not only my birthday weekend it’s also our first trip away together as a couple. I checked into staying at the Embassy Suites in Hot Springs, AR but it was just way too expensive and out of our budget. Thanks!

We will be taking a trip to Hot Springs in August. Any suggestions on where to stay? It is me & my husband and our 7 month old daughter. Thanks
